Who is gABE?

Evvi (she/her), the artist behind GABE (graphicartbyev) is based in Paris, France. She is an artist, graphic designer, and Illustrator.

Evvi’s original passion for art was found in music, listening to or playing guitar while attempting to write and sing songs.

Evvi knew she always had a greater passion for art, so one day she decided to explore something new. Over time she found a certain love for charcoal sketching and live drawing. From there, she began to expand into the world of digital art, creating textile and t-shirt designs for small companies. Coffee mugs and holiday card designs for local cafes followed shortly thereafter.

She has been taught by well known artists who have helped her present her charcoal sketches in exhibitions and galleries. She is a locally known artist, and sells her art at various locations, both online and in boutiques.

Evvi finds her inspiration for art in her everyday life, whether that’s in the music she listens to, the streets she walks day-by-day, or on the metro she takes. It doesn’t matter where Evvi is, she can find art in anything.
